Stress is a word that has only appeared relatively recently in the English language. Due to the pace and pressures of everyday life we now tend to take it for granted that we will all encounter stress at some point in our lives. However if stress, anxiety or depression get out of hand the effect on our life can become quite traumatic resulting in panic attacks and frightening feelings of loss of control.
