How much do I need?

Monday, February 19th, 2007

A recent survey came to the conclusion that it isn’t having more that we imagine will make us happy – it’s having more than anyone else! This is probably something deeply engrained in our biological conditioning and I am sure we can all think of times when we have regressed back to our “envy thinking” programme.

Considering most of us have enough to live on there must be deeper reasons for us feeling this way. Unfortunately until we can detach ourselves from this treadmill we will find true happiness to be a very elusive goal indeed.

This is obviously just the bare bones of an issue that has ramifications in many areas of our lives (and for the human race). Worth spending a few moments thinking about?
