Introvert or extrovert
Thursday, November 30th, 2006Many of my clients come to see me to improve their confidence levels and it often follows on that they would probably describe themselves as introverts. This feeling of being an “introvert” can bring with it it’s own reduction in confidence levels but obviously we can’t all be extroverts and why should we?
So lets “reframe” or change the context in which we define introvert. First there is nothing whatever wrong with being an introvert and whether we are introvert or extrovert the important point is that “we feel OK in our own skin.”
If one or the other is your preferred way of being then enjoy being who you are. An extrovert could be described as someone who is socially involved and introvert someone who is less socially involved. Whichever you are, enjoy it. You can still be quietly confident!
