Throwing pebbles
Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where we feel we need to say something about someone’s behaviour or the standard of a particular service. Sometimes it is important that we are able to put across our point but quite often the old adage of counting to ten really is a better way to handle things. In fact if we wait for 24 hours it is surprising how that all important comment we needed to make just does not seem so important any more.
Maybe that slight we took from someone can be explained by our own sensitivity or the other person’s problems. If a pebble is thrown into a pool it will make ripples but if we decline to throw our own pebble in then those ripples will soon die down. EFT is remarkably effective in helping us let go of these sorts of irritations and allow us to stand back and see how they are really not worth wasting our energy on. Literally a minute or two will nearly always be all we need to “tap it out of our system. It certainly beats carrying the “hurt” around with us for 24 hours.
